How far in advance should I book a Bay Area photo booth?
For weddings, 6–9 months out is typical. For corporate holiday parties, October at the latest - December books out in early fall. For everything else, 8–10 weeks gives our design team enough runway on the custom frame. Last-minute is sometimes possible - if we're free, we'll do it. Call us.
Do magnet prints actually last?
Yes. We print on heavy-stock magnetic paper with a matte protective layer. They don't fade, curl, or peel. We have customers who have magnets from 2020 still on their fridge - that's the whole point of the format.
What's the difference between the roaming photographer and a regular photo booth?
A regular booth is a fixed station guests walk to. The roaming photographer walks to them - capturing candids at the table, on the dance floor, during toasts. Photos route to the printing station and guests pick up their magnets during the event or on the way out. Better candids, no line, no broken-up dance floor.
Does the QR-code app need a download?
No. Guests scan the QR code, the camera opens in their browser inside your custom frame, and the photo is sent to the printing station. No download, no signup, no email follow-up.
What areas do you serve?
All of the San Francisco Bay Area is included in pricing - San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Palo Alto, Berkeley, Marin, the Peninsula, Sonoma, Napa. For Lake Tahoe, Big Sur, Carmel, or anywhere beyond 60 miles, we quote travel at cost.
Do you carry liability insurance?
$2M general liability. We handle COI requests directly with the venue - we meet the requirements of most Bay Area venues.
Can I see the frame before the event?
Yes. Frame design starts 4–6 weeks before the event. You'll see drafts and approve the final at least two weeks out.
What happens to the photos after the event?
You get a private digital gallery with every photo from the night, downloadable in original quality. The Signature package includes the raw originals as well.
Can guests get more than one magnet?
Yes - every package includes unlimited prints for the roaming photographer. The whole point is people leave with a keepsake. Some events average 3 or more magnets per guest. QR-code app limits are quoted separately.
Do you offer payment plans?
We take 50% to lock the date, balance two weeks before. For corporate events with NET-30 terms, we work through your AP system.
